What is an escape room?
It’s sort of like a movie, except instead of watching it, you’re living it! Working together with the rest of your team, you’ll explore this uniquely themed room and solve puzzles, decipher clues, and try to escape before your time hits zero! An escape room is ideal for corporate team-building, hosting an unforgettable party, or just having a fun night out with friends!
How do I book for a corporate event?
What should I wear?
There is no specific dress code, but remember—you’ll be exploring an ancient Egyptian tomb, so things may get a little dusty. We recommend at least close-toed shoes for this expedition, and perhaps a talisman to protect against curses.
Will we be playing in the dark?
Not exactly! Our goal is to make it feel as if you’re living your own movie, and to make that possible, you may experience some lighting (and sound) effects while inside, including moments of dim or flashing lights. If you have any concerns about playing, contact us beforehand or simply talk to your game master. Ultimately, we want to make sure you feel safe and have fun!
Will we be locked in?
No, you are free to leave the room at any time! However, the clock will continue running, so we highly recommend taking care of all business beforehand so as not to jeopardize your chances of a true escape!
When should I arrive?
Try to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled showtime. This should give you and your team enough time to use the restroom, fill out any paperwork, and get briefed before going into the room.
What if I arrive late?
Like a movie, our rooms have specific start times and adhere to a tight schedule, so if you arrive late we cannot hold your room! You will still be allowed to play, but your time and your fun will be shortened.
Can I bring food?
We ask that food and drinks be finished or put away before playing our rooms, however, if you cannot make it the full hour, you can leave and return to the room at any point. Luckily, we are within walking distance of a ton of great restaurants—Bawarchi Biryanis, Black Bottle Brewery, and Totally 80’s Pizza to name just a few—so if you’re hungry afterwards you don’t have to look far!
Where are you located?
We are on the southwest corner of the intersection of Prospect and College, in the far back corner of the parking lot. We share our parking lot with Black Bottle Brewery, Bawarchi Biryanis, Lime Light Fitness, and Chuck E. Cheese.
Is there a minimum/maximum number of players?
Our rooms can accommodate up to 8 players per show. But that doesn't mean that you need 8 players on your team to play. You can sign up by yourself, or as a couple if you like. You may be joined by other players if your team does not fill the room.
I told someone I was going and now they want to come too. Can I add them to my group?
Our room can comfortably fit up to 8 people, so if there is still room then the answer is YES! If you have booked a group of 4 or more, you already have a private showing meaning our website will not allow more bookings for the room. Just bring along any extra players at the time of your showing and we will add them to your group in person.
If you do not have a private showing, then you should add extra players by making additional bookings through our Booking page to reserve their space before the room fills up.
Do I have to share the room, or can I request a private show?
All shows with parties of 4 or more will be private. For smaller parties, the time slot will remain open and other small parties may join you. If you have a small party but would like a private show, you can purchase 4 tickets to buy out the show time.
My plans have changed and I can't make my booking! What do I do?
First off, don’t panic. We will try to be as flexible as possible to accomodate you. If you give us at least a one day notice, we will gladly reschedule you for another time. If you contact us with less than 24 hours notice before your scheduled show time, we will still gladly reschedule you, but you will be charged a 10% rescheduling fee.
Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice will be charged a 10% fee to cover credit card and bank charges. We can’t give refunds for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice — please consider rescheduling instead.
No-shows will not be rescheduled or refunded, so please contact us as soon as you are aware of your changing schedule.
Do I qualify for student price?
Are you a student? Then yes!
If you attend classes, whether it be high school, middle school, CSU (or any other college/university, in state or out of state), FRCC, or any other, then you qualify. If you are over age 10, then select student when booking. For students aged 5 - 10, select the child rate.
